I strongly believe that patties are either beef or vegetable. All those other combinations are deviants of the traditional Jamaican Pattie, but we can't hold back 'progress' or at least that's what I've been told the breaking down of tradition is progress 🤷🏽♀️
Before I start off on a rant, I'll focus on the purpose of this post.
The Cornish Pastie now comes in different flavours/fillings!
Where in the pass I used the Cornish Pasty as an example of other traditions not being interfered with, I can't use that example any more.
The Cornish Pasty has met the 21st century.
Why am I so thrilled?
I for 1 will still only eat the traditional versions of either Pattie or Cornish Pasty.
Maybe it's me that should move into 21st century 🤔
