23 Flavours of Beef or Veg Patty

This is a nice piece of history, about where the Jamaican Patty originated from.

It's an interesting concept that the Patty could be the cousin of the British Cornish Pastie.

1000's of years later, the Cornish pasty filling hasn't changed. 

So why has the Jamaican Patty now got 23 different fillings, and counting.

Some would say it's the Jamaican innovation.
